I was so very sad to read this news today. Therese and I had attended Paul Dwyer High School together as students. It was also nice knowing she also worked for the DCDSB as I had done for 25 + years. May she rest in peace, and may God bless her and bless Therese's family and friends during this difficult time.

Sending our condolences to the Byrne family and her cherished friends. Therese was an amazing person and touched our lives when our children attended St Joseph’s CS. She was such an important staff member at St Jos School. She influenced the lives of so many families over the years she worked there. She welcomed everyone & treated them with kindness, compassion and respect. Many children and families were guided by her thoughtfulness and way that she treated everyone in the school community. Therese brought joy with her beautiful smile, sense of humour and mischievous giggle. We have many fond memories that we cherish and lessons learned by her example and the way she lived her life. May she Rest In Peace.
