I am so very sorry to hear of Winnie's passing. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. I met Winnie just a few months ago when she shared a room at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with my Grandma. She made our time there so pleasant... wearing her beautiful smile each day and sharing so many enjoyable conversations with me while my Grandma was resting. She had such a bright and magnetic personality. My Dad and I really loved saying hello to her even when my Grandma was moved to another room. She would always ask how my Grandma was doing even when it may not have been the best day for her. In the short time we got to spend with her... she really made a wonderful impression, and I will miss her. Wishing you all much comfort, and hoping your days ahead are filled with so many wonderful memories of that delightful voice, and smile!

We met Winnie late in her life, but we found her to be a sweetheart. She always had a big smile and a wicked laugh during our conversations. She was always kind to mom and asked about her often after they had separate rooms. She phoned me just before she passed and I promised to see her with another Tim Horton card the following week-I'm so sorry that I didn't get that last visit in.I'm so sorry for your loss! Rest in peace Winnie!
