I can't tell you how saddened I was to hear of Roger's passing. Without a doubt some of my fondest memories of our years in Canada were the times Roger and I spent playing golf together in Cobourg. Just a wonderful, funny, witty guy who I will always remember. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

My sincere condolences to the family. Roger was my manager at CIBC Billings Bridge Plaza in the late 80s. He was a true leader, focused on enabling his team to develop and take on increasing responsibility.. I remember his laid back approach and dry sense of was a true pleasure to work with him.

I am sorry to learn of your loss of Roger. I was a ‘newbe’ in the CIBC Audit Dept in Toronto in the late ‘70s. Roger was well regarded by his co-workers - especially one who used to bring a green apple to him each morning on one job. Roger accepted this with his usual grace and well known sense of humour.
I’m sure you have hundreds of memories such as this to warm your hearts.

It has taken me some time to figure out what to say. Our lives have moved in different directions but I have always remembered the amazing times we all had together. Roger was a great man, devoted dad and was always there for a smile and horrific “dad joke”. I guess we have to measure our lives in how we affect other people and the legacies we leave behind. Few people will be able to say that they were loved by many and liked by all. Every person who met Roger and saw his sly, mischievous smile couldn’t help but have their day brightened.
I’m really sorry for the loss of such an awesome man.
    Be good Roger...
