Dot was our neighbour and always had a good story or two to tell us about how things were before all the houses were built around hers. The history of how the big pine tree that stands in the back yard was one that her husband had dug up and brought home. She was a strong woman and amazed us at all the work around her house she did for so many years, until she just couldn't anymore. Rest peacefully, Dot. We will always remember you. Greg and Elizabeth and Lyndsey Brown, former neighbours.

As we were former neighbours of the Pierson family back in the 60’s, I have many fond memories of Dorothy. I’m so glad I was able to have a visit with her last year, and take a trip down memory lane. Rhonda, you have my deepest sympathy. Your Mom was a class act!
