My heart weighs heavily with sadness for you, his loving family who loved him so very much! I have admired and been enriched by your great example of how to care for a loved one - through sacrifices, re-organizing of priorities, perseverance and much patience. When I think of Mr. Bernardes, my heart smiles because he made me laugh and above all made me feel a part of the family whenever I visited. I especially enjoyed the times when he 'ruffled your feathers' Roger :0) I'm sorry I can not be there for the funeral but know that I am keeping you in my prayers and him so that he may be united with his grandson Angelo in Heaven. God bless you all! Love you!
