(35 year employee/Vice President of Beauty Councils of Canada; Past Matron of Sunbeam Chapter #73 Order of the Eastern Star) Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Gladys (née Copland) at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Lee Elliott for 60 years. Loving mother of Arline Hughes (Ben), Errol Harris (Donna), Marilyn Everett (Brian), Rod Elliott (Carol), Heather Elliott (Harold) and Bonnie Gorrill (Randy). Remembered by 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Donald Copland and sister-in-law Irene Copland. Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. An Eastern Star Service will be held on Sunday at 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
